Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc., the world’s largest seed company, contributed $600,000 to the IGERT project during the first funding period.  These funds provided fellowships to graduate students who were selected from research proposal competitions.  Pioneer has committed continued support, providing fellowships and summer internships at Pioneer, where trainees will have an opportunity to work with staff computational biologists.
